For Ponoka’s 100th Anniversary in 2004, this monument was dedicated to the strength of the pioneer families, the vision of the founding fathers, and the dedication of residents of the Town and County of Ponoka who call Ponoka home.
Take a stroll to the north end of Centennial Park and visit the Fort Ostell Museum (5320 - 54 Street). On display at the museum is the “History of the Care of the Mentally Ill” in Alberta. South of Centennial Park is the Ponoka Visitor Information Centre where you can get your passport stamped.
