World’s Largest Sausage

The Giant Sausage replica was built in recognition of Stawnichy's Meat Processing, a sausage factory which has been in Mundare for 50 years and famous for their kobassa (Ukrainian sausage). Built June 8, 2001, it was four years in the making and was built to withstand 160 km/h winds. It’s 42’ (12.8 m) high and weighs 6 tons.

You will find it in Mundare at the intersection of Hwy #855 & 50Street, just one block north of Stawnichy’s Meat Processing.

To get your passport stamped visit Stawnichy’s or the WK Esso Service Station right across the street.
