Millennium Sundial
At a height of over 12 m (40’), the Sundial symbolizes the passage of the year 2000 and was part of Grande Prairie’s millennium project. The plaza is 60 sq. m. and contains 10 time capsules. Five capsules are incorporated into the sundial, four are dedicated to community sponsorships and one celebrates the youth of today and the stars of the future.
